Experience
As Director of Business Development at Next Realty, LLC, Eteri is responsible for the development and execution of the company’s acquisition investment strategy for retail and parking properties. Eteri is charged with developing and fostering relationships with investment sales professionals, owners of real estate assets, financial institutions and joint venture partners. Eteri’s daily responsibilities include identifying markets and properties that meet the company’s investment objectives, underwriting potential opportunities and structuring transactions. Next Realty, LLC is a privately held commercial real estate investment company which was founded in 1998 to manage and grow a portfolio of shopping centers originally developed by the Hochberg family, founders of the sporting goods retailer Sportmart. Currently, our $300 million portfolio consists of retail and parking properties nationwide; with approximately 1.0 million square feet of retail space and 8,200 parking spaces under management. For the past 10 years, Eteri has been active in all aspects of the commercial real estate business. Most recently, Eteri worked at Allstate Investments, where she was responsible for underwriting commercial real estate loans and completed more than $550 million in transaction volume. Earlier in her career, Eteri analyzed equity and mezzanine debt investment opportunities at the Tuckerman Group and worked for the Capital Markets Group of Jones Lang LaSalle representing clients in disposition of over $725 million in real estate assets. She graduated with a BA in Economics and an MBA in Finance from The University of Chicago and is an Illinois licensed real estate salesperson.

Eteri’s favorite aspect of REFF is getting to know smart and fun women in Chicago’s real estate industry. Eteri feels that it is important for women to network with each other, especially in the real estate industry, and help elevate each other professionally.
Hobbies/Interest
Eteri's hobbies include spending time with her husband, Jeremy, and son, Ariel, who is the most intriguing individual she has ever met!
