Christine is the Associated Vice President of Development at Focus Development. In this capacity, Christine contributes to the strategic direction of the company through cultivating relationships with investors, partners, and clients; evaluating potential acquisitions and new markets; and defining and implementing internal operating procedures. In addition to her responsibilities as AVP, Christine has directly managed a portfolio of over $350 million of ground-up multifamily, condominium, and single-family projects, value-add residential rehabilitation, and mixed-use development. Her ground-up development responsibilities include site selection, deal structuring, and acquisition; working with municipal leaders to secure entitlements and construction permits; managing project consultants including architectural design and engineering; committing debt and equity project financing; and acting as an owner’s representative through construction. Outside of her involvement with REFF, Christine sits on the Housing Committee of the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) and serves as a board member of Neighborhood Housing Services Redevelopment Corporation (NHSRC). She received a Master’s Degree in Public Policy with a concentration in Urban Economics from the University of Chicago, and a Bachelor of Arts in Ethnic Studies and Political Science from the University of Oregon.
