Katie Jahnke Dale is an associate in the real estate group at DLA Piper, an international law firm. Her practice involves representing developers, purchasers, sellers and owners of institutional, residential and commercial property in securing development and zoning approvals, negotiating and implementing public-private development and financing arrangements and public incentives, performing general and zoning due diligence and negotiating and closing real estate acquisitions and dispositions. Katie plays a key role with several significant clients and for a number of important matters in the land use area, including in most of the City’s busiest neighborhoods for development.
Katie is a member of DLA Piper’s Chicago and North American Pro Bono Committees and dedicates a significant amount of time to pro bono work for low income individuals and immigrants. She is currently pursuing a Master in Business Administration (MBA) in the University of Chicago Booth School of Business Executive Program.
As the VP of Programs, Katie is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating monthly events and panels.
