MJ Zaring joined CBRE in March 2013 and is an investment sales broker focusing on institutional multifamily assets. This includes stabilized apartment sales, condo deconversion sales, land sales and raising JV equity for new development projects in both the downtown and suburban Chicago markets. Prior to joining CBRE, MJ spent almost eight years in the Washington, DC market working at both CWCapital on the debt restructuring side, and Jones Lang LaSalle in a consulting capacity focusing on public-private partnership transactions. She received her BS degree from Vanderbilt University and her MBA from Georgetown University. She is originally from Cincinnati, OH.

MJ is really proud of the effort that the REFF Board puts into planning diverse and engaging programming events that provide opportunities to connect with like-minded, ambitious women in real estate on both a professional and a personal level.
As President, MJ presides over all meetings and works with the REFF Board in setting the strategic direction of the organization, as well as executing on activities and partnerships in support of the REFF mission.
